Come up with a Cute Scene Name =]
The one i used was this:
1.Write your first name down on a piece of paper.
2.Next grab a dictionary or thesaurus and open to any page
3.Pick a number from 1-25.
4.Let's say you pic 17, count each word until you find the 17th word. If you run out of words to count that start again at the top. don't go to the next page.
6.When you have found that word, look to see if it is an adjective, noun, verb etc.
7.If it is an adjective you may want to put it in front of your name. If it is a verb, you could put it in front of your name in the present from (e.g.: Living Beth)
Note:
The words Gore, Exorcist, Suicide, Suffocation, Massacre, etc. are not good.
Tips & Warnings !
Be random, but don't overdo it. You may sound cool if you blurt out something out of context once in a while, but no one wants someone who screams "Purple hippos!" every ten seconds.
Make sure your scene hair isn't too wild, or you won't get enough adds on MySpace. Although most scene hair is known for being outlandish, if you go overboard, you may be labeled a poser.
Some people will hate you. Those people include punks, ska kids, and most members of the scene or local visitors of the local venue that are not scene kids. Don't label people, and then they might not hate you. You are all people, not separate species.
Don't limit yourself to one scene style, as there are many; Glamour scene and glamcore are also scene. They just have more to do with designer labels.
Use popular scene kids for inspiration on how to look and dress. Examples of these would be Raquel Reed, Audrey Kitching,Philfingerbang, Zui Suicide, Kiki Kannibal, and Hammy Horror.
Don't use scene language that is outdated, like "rawr".
Make sure that you are very careful with your hair. It's good to use a thermal protection spray applied in your hair before your straigten or curl. It's also nice to buy lots of hairspray. Brands lilke Bed Head, Big Sexy, or Beyond Zone are all reputable brands.
When adding yourself to social networking sites, stay away from Stardoll. Stardoll contains a lot of posers trying to get a reputation in the scene world.
The first rule of being scene is talk about being scene.
Don't change to scene in one day. You will be labeled as a poser, and will look like a wannabe. It should be a gradual process, one that could range from a month to a year. I know you are so impatient but keep it on the DL and study up on the attitudes of other scene kids.
The second rule: don't copy other people. Don't live with others copying you but keep your innocence *play it* when confronting them, if you do. If you are a copyer yer a definett POSER.
Don't dye your hair too often or else you will damage it. If you ignore this your hair will become wiry and you know what happens when mixing up all teh colors of the rainbow? brown ick.
Avoid stereotypes about the scene scene and the emo scene. This will only distract you from becoming a good scene kid/person.
As soon as you decide to start acting scene, don't automatically label yourself as such. People will think you are trying too hard, and you will most likely be excluded.
Understand what a Kandi Kid is and make sure that isn't who you are before going for this. Kandi kid guys are the ultimate heartthrobs of many so watch out.
If you buy every single bit of your clothing from Hot Topic, people will be able to tell. You don't necessarily need to know how to match colors but in extreme cases go easy on mixing the patterns.
How to be scene :)
Don't get overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down, or acts like a jerk. But don't let people walk all over you, either. You need to know just the right balance.
2.Be nice. People often mistake scene kids for horrible, nasty little teenagers who spread mean rumours about others, and are very harsh to other people they know. You don't need to fit this trend. Instead, make a good effort to be kind to others, and have an understanding that everyone has their own problems, not just you.
Become active on social networking sites. Myspace, Facebook, Stickam, Buzznet, Purevolume, and Bebo are the main ones. However, avoid Bebo if you can - it's not as socially acceptable as the others. Accept any friend request you get, and remember: the more sites you're on, the more popular you are.
3.Take pictures for your page. Only upload images if they look good, and only take pictures if you know how. Taking pictures from the bottom angle, (taking it from your hips with the camera looking up), is unflattering. Instead, take an overhead picture with you looking up, or a mirror shot. To spice up your picture, add something flavourful; a colorful boa, shutter shades, or big and bulky rings. Feel free to edit your picture to take out imperfections, such as acne, a mole, or blackheads.
4.Add scene music. Bands like Metro Station, M.I.A., Tokio Hotel, The Medic Droid and Shiny Toy Guns all fall in that category. Change your song every week to prevent playing an old song. Scene music has a large range; it involves most music except country and most rap. Anything techno, random, or unique will work. If you can't think of a good song, check out what other scene kids are listening to.
5.Have a good name. Make sure that it's original. If you can't think of anything, have a friend give you an adjective that describes you that starts with the first letter of your name. Once you've found one that you like, try putting it and the beginning or end of your name. User whichever one you like best! If your friend doesn't help, try looking up a word that describes you in a thesaurus. Find a word that isn't heard often, and then add it to your name.
6.Take up the scene writing style.
When you type on things like AIM or Myspace, add extra letters to your words. Type things such as "hii", "babyy", "heyy", or ":]]". If you're saying goodbye to someone, type something like "xoxo", "ttyl <3",>
7.On the phone or in person. Tell someone that their clothes are "so Marie Claire", as Marie Claire is a huge fashion icon. Some other things scene kids say are; "betch", "you are the shag", "that's golden", "you're too cute STFU", or "Oh-em-gee". Don't use irritating abbreviations in person. Saying "lol" is acceptable, but "rofl" and "lmao" are best left to typing conversations. Say new terms. Using words like "stellar", "rad", or "yar" are all important aspects. However, don't say what everyone else around you is saying. If you need some inspiration, try Urban Dictionary, or even coining up your own word. If you do choose to make your own word, make sure that it's original, and sounds good.
8.Go to shows. Shows are important, and if there is a show playing within a ten mile radius of you, you're there. Always know when your favourite bands are playing, and go to a show at least once a week. Bring your other scene friends, and become familiar with the artist as a person. Talk to your friends about how you met them, and be very knowledgable about them.
9.Get the attitude right. It's a mix of the sullen teenage lethargia that comes with the emo scene, and the anger and saucy-ness that comes with hardcore scene. That's not to say that many scene kids aren't happy-go-lucky, but they are often a strange combination of randomness and angst. Whatever you do, make sure it works and you don't completely overdo it.
10.Try starting a new trend. Several scene queens have become famous by inventing new trends. Only try to start a new trend if you are familiar with the scene culture, and have some credibility in your social clique. If you try to start a new fad when you aren't popular or have a good reputation, people will think you are being a wannabe and will ignore you.

How to Style Scene Hair
Short Hair - Girls
Get some awesome choppy layers cut into your hair. If it is curly, think about having it straightened! Getting it razored can also look very scene too.
Dye your hair black or stark blond with streaks of other colors, such as bright pink or electric blue, any color that is crazy and will stand out. As an alternative, you can keep your natural hair color and get some lowlights/highlights that compliment your hairstyle. The most common hairstyle in the scene is either straight black or blond with black underneath.
Grow out your fringe and pin it to the side with Kirby grips or bow clips during the process.
Mess up the back with a little hair serum or, if you want a more boyish look, use gel to get a wet look. You might put some porcupine spikes in the back, as a suggestion.
Remember to lather, rinse and repeat in the shower to get rid of all that gel!
Get extensions if you'd prefer to have long scene hair.
Mid-Length Hair - Girls
Layer your hair and get it razored. Brown or black with another color in the fringe or back looks awesome. Blonde with pink streaks in can also be very fetching. You can also get other colors like green or blue.
Use hairspray and stay away from hair gel. Serum is okay, but use it in moderation. Use bow clips, ribbons - whatever suits you.
Remember to have it poofed! In other words, you'll be using lots of hairspray and maybe a little backcombing. Teasing is a good way to poof it up but only tease UNDER the layers so no one can see the knots.
Keep in mind that you'll be straightening your hair. Use a hot oil or similar hair treatment weekly, such as Aussie 3 minute miracle to reduce damage from all the hairspray, straightening, and combing.
Use conditioner every time that you wash your hair.
Use heat protecting serums when you straighten!
Long Hair - Girls
Trim your split ends at least every six weeks. This will help to maintain a healthy look. Long hair is very easy to make scene, although it needs lots of TLC.
Use conditioner and shampoo tailored for your hair type. If you straighten/curl, use proper protection.
Brush your hair daily. Also comb gently to get rid of dead hairs. If you are considering getting it cut, get it razored and layer it.
Dye your hair peroxide blonde with the fringes black or brown. This combination looks great on long hair.
Accessorize! Kirby grips, bobby pins, bows and ribbons look hot!
Tease Your Hair! Get short layers cut around the top of your hair, then grab each layer and tease it at the roots with a comb. Hairspray where you have teased. Try to do this to a few of your top layers and then flatten it a bit to get the oomph-factor!
Short Hair - Guys
Dye your hair black or blonde. Razor it, straighten it - whatever goes! The Oliver Sykes look is a good choice for short hair.
Consider black with a long fringe and red streaks. It looks amazing on most guys!
Avenged Sevenfold also has some groovy hairstyles. Check Out Johnny Christ or Zacky Vengeance and consider copying their gelled look.
Wash your hair thoroughly!
Mid-Length Hair - Guys
Dye your hair if you wish. Generally speaking, any color goes with mid length.
Avoid using hair gel! It doesn't look too great on medium hair.
Get your hair razored.
You don't need to use too over-the-top colors when dying your hair. Brown or black with blonde can look very good!
Long Hair - Guys
Do not dye your hair with over-the-top colors. Dying your hair with brown, black, or blond looks fine. You can even keep your original hair color if you like! Peroxide might suit you.
Understand that the key to long scene hair is simple TLC. Shampoo every other day, or every day, depending on your hair type.
Use conditioner and comb it through your hair when you shower. Try to let it dry naturally.
Get your split ends cut regularly.
Avoid layering your hair as it doesn't look too good. Consider getting your hair thinned out, if you do want a change.
Use heat protection sprays and serums liberally if you decide to straighten your hair!
Alternate Method
Spray your hair with a heat protecting spray to keep your hair from being damaged by a flat iron.
Plug in your flat iron for 5 minutes to let it heat up. While it is heating, you can apply your make-up or brush out your hair.
Clip all of your layers into a large clip, leaving the bottom section of your hair down.
Straighten all of the hair, and then let each section of layers down one at a time until you have straightened your whole head.
Once all of your hair is straightened, comb your bangs over to one side and straighten them into place.
Take the hair on each side of the crown and back-comb (tease) it.
Repeat for all of your top layers and spray into place.
If your bangs are not staying in place, hold them there with a bobby pin or cute clip.
Hair-spray your whole head, but not too excessively or else your hair will look greasy.
Go out on the town and let everyone see your cool new hair!
more hair !
Buy a straightener.
Get some hair protection spray or volumizing spray.
Dye your hair one solid color, preferrably black, white or super light blonde.
Straighten your hair every day.
To get it to spike in the back, try back-combing, or teasing.
Another method is to straighten the back straight up, and make it stick up by fliping your head upside down, and spraying it with hairspray.
Be sure it's as messy as possible in the front.
Tips:
Don't do it if you don't think it sounds like you.
You may get labeled a poser.
Pull it off.
You're not supposed to look normal, stick to your style no matter what people say. It's you.
Coontails!! [HOw tO!]
Things you'll need:
1.Mascara
2.Electrical Tape or Clear Tape (with a weak adhesive)
3.Gloves
4.Sharpie
5.Colored Hair dye
6.Hair Extensions (optional)
7.Old towels
8.Old pillow cases
9.Disposable gloves
10.Scissors
11.Tinting brush/ soft toothbrush
12.Shampoo and Conditioner
13.Hair straighteners
14.Glossing Spray (Optional)
15.Vaseline
[Prepare.] Separate the section of hair you want to dye. Make sure all remaining hair is securely pinned out of the way. If more than one section is being dyed, choose one section to dye at a time. Curly hair will need to be straightened to makes the dying process easier. You should also try to ensure that the section of hair you have chosen is of a consistent length, and that the section falls together.; sections that do not fall together will not give you the desired effect when dyed.
Separating your section.Prepare your stripes. Prepare pieces of scotch tape between 1 -3 inches long, depending on the thickness of your chosen strand, and wrap it around that section of hair. Putting conditioner on the taped parts will help stop it from being dyed, as well as allow for easier tape removal.
[All taped up!]Continue wrapping your hair with the tape, evenly spacing out the distance between each piece. Make sure the tape is tightly wrapped around your hair.
Prepare the dye. Read the directions of your hair dye carefully and prepare the mixture. Some dyes need to be applied to slightly wet hair while others can go on dry. Make sure to wear protective gloves, and an old t-shirt. Protect your hairline and ears with a layer of Vaseline, or you may end up with multicoloured skin.
The dye has been applied.Apply the dye. Apply hair dye onto the exposed sections of your hair using your fingers or a tinting brush, whilst pinching the tape below it with your other hand to make sure the dye does not seep beneath the tape. Continue applying dye to the exposed sections, making sure they are thoroughly saturated.
Wait for the dye to develop. Relax during the interval, and prepare your shampoo and hair styling utensils. Make sure to read dye instructions and leave dye in only for the recommended time period.
Rinse. Carefully rinse your hair with water, removing the tape as you go. Make sure to remove all the excess dye. Rinse well, shampoo and condition. Try to avoid getting dye residue on your face, as it may stain.
The finished result.Dry. Dry hair and enjoy your coon tail. Hair should be re-straightened and possibly treated with a glossing spray for super sleek results.
[For Black Hair]
Buy bleach powder, peroxide, masking tape and a tint brush.
Straighten your hair and tie back the hair you don't want to be affected.
Apply the masking tape to your hair covering the bits that you want to REMAIN black.
Follow the directions on the bleaching powder and mix it correctly. Then paint the stripes into your hair. It doesn't matter if you get bleach on the tape. Wrap the hair that has stripes in hair foil and leave it to develop, following the directions on the bleach for time.
Take off your clothing and take a shower. This way the masking tape should come right off and float away.
Shampoo and condition your hair once you've washed out all the remaining bleach. Dry your hair to see the result.
Since bleaching removes pigment from the hair, and presumably your hair is black, bleaching will require more than one application to get it the correct shade of blond you desire. If you want platinum blonde hair you can only do so by making your hair very brittle.
Scene Make-up !
- eyeliner:black,or a vibrant color
- blush/foundation
- eyeshadow: black,silver,etc.
- mascara:black
- lipstick/gloss: any color that matches your skintone.
